About The Artist

Hello everyone. My name is Sam Robinson. I am an indigenous artist from the Lower Bands of The Chinook Nation. Born and raised on the Columbia River In Washington State. I have always enjoyed making and restoring things but just recently have gotten into the art world with my gourd pieces. My inspirations are very broad and sporadic at times but you will see hints of Pre-Columbian art in every one of my pieces. Thank you for taking time to look over my site and hope you enjoy!
